Japarov visits Independence and Humanism Monument in Tashkent

The President of Kyrgyzstan is planning to meet with the country’s highest authorities during his state visit to Uzbekistan.

On March 11, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov arrived in Uzbekistan for a state visit. He laid flowers at the Independence and Humanism Monument on the Mustakillik Square in Tashkent, accompanied by the guard of honour, the press office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov greeted the leader of Kyrgyzstan at the Tashkent International Airport. The state flags of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were flown from the flagpoles, the carpet was laid out and the guard of honour lined up at the Tashkent International Airport.

During his visit, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will hold bilateral talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As was reported, the programme of the visit includes a Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan business forum that aims to promote economic relations.

Japarov will continue to make his state visits to foreign states. He is expected to travel to China, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
