Japarov’s state visit to Uzbekistan scheduled for March 11

The programme of the visit includes a Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan business forum that aims to promote economic relations.

On March 9, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Office Dastan Dyushekeyev informed about a state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Tashkent, which was scheduled for March 11-12. It is reported that the programme of the visit includes a Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan business forum that aims to enhance and promote economic relations, the press office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

Japarov plans to hold a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other high-ranking officials.

The leaders of the two countries are expected to discuss the aspects of bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as the prospects for promoting and building up effective interaction.

As was reported, Sadyr Japarov has made presidential visits to Russia and Kazakhstan.

Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev reported that the Kyrgyz leader intends to visit Turkmenistan, China and Tajikistan.
