Central Asian Chamber of Commerce to open in the capital of Tajikistan

The major aim of the Centre is to unite businessmen and producers from Central Asia and Turkey.

The Central Asian Chamber of Commerce will open soon in the capital of Tajikistan. The regional centre will be a hub for businessmen and investors from the Central Asian countries and the Republic of Turkey, the ASIA-Plus News Agency reported on March 5.

Talks on the opening of the Chamber are underway. In February, a number of delegations from the neighbouring countries visited Dushanbe for this purpose. Wall World headed by Sabir Asatullozoda s implementing the project.

He said the Centre would open in accordance with the Decree of the leader of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who had instructed to attract more investors to the national economy.

The Central Asian Chamber of Commerce will consist of entrepreneurs from Turkey, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. A permanent exhibition of commodities produced in the countries – members of the Chamber will be arranged at the Centre.

The project mainly aims to enshrine the interests of investors and businessmen and assist them in developing investment programmes. The Centre will also provide legal assistance.

Asatullozoda said the Chamber was tasked to create a common database and remove obstacle and barriers, in particular in the post pandemic period.
