Kyrgyz President to visit Nur-Sultan on March 2

The head of Kyrgyzstan plans to meet with the top leadership of Kazakhstan and discuss topical issues.

On March 1, the head of the foreign policy department of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Dushekeyev informed that the leader of the country Sadyr Japarov will leave for Kazakhstan on March 2 and 3, where he plans to meet with his Kazakh colleague Kasym-Jomart Tokayev and other top officials, as reported by the press office of the head of Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit, Japarov will also meet with the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Mazhilis of Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin, and Prime Minister Askar Mamin.

Within the meeting with Tokayev, the Kyrgyz president plans to discuss topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as further prospects for interaction.

It must be added that after the presidential elections in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Tokayev congratulated Japarov and invited him to visit Kazakhstan. The first trip of the head of Kyrgyzstan took place in neighboring Russia on February 24, where he met with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin.
