Plan of Kyrgyz Cabinet on improving business conditions approved

The Prime Minister approved the plan of the government on ensuring social and economic stability in the country.

On February 26, 2021, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov approved a plan of priority government measures, consisting of 50 events. The program provides for steps to ensure social stability for the population and improve the economic situation in the country, as reported by the press office of the Kyrgyz Cabinet.

In order to improve the provision of public services to citizens, it is planned to introduce electronic passports.

At the same time, from May 1, 2021, it is planned to start issuing general civil passports of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan of the sample of 2020 in electronic format. Also, from May 1, it is planned to issue biometric ID-cards, driving licenses, and a vehicle registration certificate.

In addition, one of the key parts of the government action plan is to create conditions for ensuring the safety of investors and entrepreneurship.

In these areas, it is planned to reduce administrative barriers and simplify business procedures through the operation of a multifunctional service center for entrepreneurs and a «Single Window» in the field of construction and architecture, as well as automation of processes in the customs and tax areas.
