Moscow allocates RUB 623 mln of aid to Bishkek

During the official visit to Russia, the Kyrgyz leader and the heads of the involved ministries of the two countries signed important documents.

On February 25, the head of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov completed his first visit abroad as the president of the country. Japarov met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin as the head of the state for the first time. The day before in Moscow, an intergovernmental agreement was signed at the level of relevant ministries on the allocation of 623 million rubles by Moscow to Bishkek, as reported by the press office of the head of Kyrgyzstan.

This gratuitous technical assistance is allocated to Kyrgyzstan to create a system for labeling goods with identification means.

In 2021, it is planned to send to Kyrgyzstan up to 316 million rubles, in 2022 — up to 307 million rubles for the corresponding purposes.

It must be added that earlier the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that Russia will continue to expand the list of products subject to mandatory labeling. According to him, it is necessary to form a labeling circuit for goods within the EAEU. Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan develop their traceability systems with the support of Russia.

Official Moscow also creates a digital platform for Kyrgyzstan, the relevant funds are allocated from the Russian budget.
