The Minister said the country needed 65 Russian language teachers, 98 English language teachers and 179 natural science teachers.

The Minister dwelt on the transition to a 12-year education system, establishment of a professional holiday for teachers and revival of the system of preschool education.

As was reported, ex-Minister of Education of Tajikistan Nuriddin Sayid had raised the issue of the inadequacy of staff resources in 2019. He said the Republic needed Russian language teachers most of all.
