RF Ambassador to Kazakhstan receives high state award

Tokayev said that the diplomat was known in his professional community as a prominent expert in international relations.

On January 21, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented a high state award – the Order of Dostyk, II degree to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan Alexey Borodavkin, the press office of Akorda reports.

The leader of Kazakhstan emphasised that the Russian diplomat was honoured for his tremendous contribution to strengthening constructive allied relations and promoting the ideals of friendship, good neighbourliness and multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.

The President noted that Alexey Borodavkin had taken his rightful place in the vast diplomatic community as a professional in the field of international relations. Alexey Borodavkin was doing his utmost as the head of the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan to ensure that friendly interaction between the two countries would always move forward, the President said.

The Russian diplomat thanked the leader of Kazakhstan for presenting the state award and evaluating highly his activity aimed at boosting partnerships and closer integration. He assured the President that he would continue to do his duty to promote allied unity and develop mutually beneficial economic approaches.
