Since 2019, 600 cotton harvesters have been delivered to the country.

On September 8, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected cotton harvesters by John Decree. The farm equipment was delivered to the state ahead of the start of the cotton harvest campaign, as reported by «Turkmenistan today».

Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the agro-industrial complex, reported on information related to the new equipment.

The equipment was delivered to Turkmenistan in two stages. The first batch of machines (300 units) arrived in 2019. By the beginning of the current cotton harvest campaign, other 300 units were delivered to the country.

In 2018, the head of the state within a visit to the United States to participate in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly met with the head of the American company John Deere, Mark von Pentz.

— It is necessary to take into account the soil and climatic conditions of our country in the manufacture of grain and cotton harvesters, tractors, — said Berdimuhamedov.

The world-famous American brand has been cooperating with Turkmenistan for more than 25 years. In total, more than 8000 units of various agricultural machinery and equipment by John Deere were delivered to the country.
