The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan announced a state visit by IRI President Masoud Pezeshkian, which will take place on January 15. Talks with President Emomali Rahmon and other high-ranking officials of the Republic are scheduled to be held during the visit.
The parties will discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation and sign new documents. Particular attention will be paid to developing joint projects in the mining industry and agriculture.
One of the major events is the Tajikistan-Iran Trade, Investment and Tourism Forum.
According to the Iranian media, the Iranian delegation will include doctors who will arrive to exchange professional experience with Tajik health workers. This visit is to strengthen partnerships between the two countries.
