President Sadyr Japarov announced a series of tax adjustments in Kyrgyzstan. The key decision was to abolish the vehicle tax, which will be replaced by a levy of 1 som per litre of fuel. This innovation is associated with the amendments to the Law On the Road Fund, Vecherniy Bishkek reports.
The Government announced an amnesty for the citizens who have the vehicle tax arrears until 2025 and erased the tax debts of businesses accumulated until 2022.
