On January 1, IRI President Masoud Pezeshkian sent a New Year’s message to his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He wished good health and every success to the President of Turkmenistan, and happiness and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency and the people of friendly and brotherly Turkmenistan on the New Year’s holiday. I hope we will witness the establishment of peace and tranquillity on the planet in the coming 2025 year,» the IRI President wrote.
Turkmenistan and Iran established diplomatic relations in February 1992. The neighbouring states actively cooperate in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors.
