Kyrgyz authorities plan to implement 100 industrial projects in 2025

The new Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers gave specific instructions to the heads of government agencies.

Kyrgyzstan plans to implement 100 industrial projects in 2025 to achieve the objectives of the national economic development programme. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting, at which he set the key tasks for government agencies, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

In accordance with the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov, given at the III People’s Kurultai, the Government intends to increase GDP to 1.8 trillion soms and the consolidated budget to 700 billion soms. The Ministry of Economy is developing reforms to support small and medium-sized businesses.

Particular attention is paid to infrastructure and energy projects. The Ministry of Transport is tasked to prepare for the construction of new roads, and the Ministry of Energy — to ensure stable electricity supplies, particularly during holidays.

The Government is working on staffing issues, including training specialists for new projects and attracting health workers to the regions. The heads of government agencies and the mayors of Bishkek and Osh were tasked to report on the projects under control of the President.
