Action plans to promote economic cooperation between the two countries in 2025 were presented at a meeting of the Russia-Tajikistan Business Council in Moscow. One of the key projects is the entry of Russia’s Wildberries online retailers into the Tajik market, Sputnik reports.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Roman Chekushov announced the creation of a textile cluster in three regions of Tajikistan and the opening of an industrial park in Dushanbe.
Particular attention will be paid to digital transformation: jointly with the Russian Academy of Sciences, RTDS is developing a digital partnership strategy.
According to Wildberries Director for International Development Rafael Abrahamyan, the company’s entry into the Tajik market will create an ecosystem for local businesses. Russia will provide support in training specialists at technical schools in Tajikistan.
