On December 12, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message of congratulations on the 29th anniversary of the status of neutrality of Turkmenistan to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The leader of the friendly country wished his Turkmen counterpart good health, family happiness and great success in his important state work, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«The declaration of the status of neutrality of Turkmenistan by the United Nations General Assembly contributes to building up friendship and multifaceted cooperation with all countries of the world and expanding good-neighbourly relations, mutual respect and mutual support in the Central Asian region,» Mirziyoyev emphasised.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that Tashkent actively supports the far-sighted foreign policy of the Turkmen leadership and its important initiatives to ensure regional stability. The President of Uzbekistan expressed his readiness to further expand strategic partnerships by intensifying high-level dialogue.
