Tajikistan launched a new Public Service Digitalisation Taskforce. It will coordinate the transition to digital public services and cashless payments at all government agencies of the country, the press office of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic reported.
The Taskforce has broad authorities to monitor and coordinate the introduction of digital technologies.
It is responsible for conducting regular assessment of the effectiveness of public services, monitoring the introduction of cashless payments and ensuring information security.
All government agencies are required to report monthly to the Taskforce on the progress of digital transformation of public service delivery. The Taskforce must report on the work done to the Government by the 10th day of each month. Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda supervises the execution of the Resolution.
