On November 25, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim invited National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the 16th meeting of this organisation as a guest of honour. The event will be held in Budapest, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
Hero-Arkadag noted during a telephone conversation with Yildirim that Turkmenistan views Turkey as one of the closest friendly states. The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty said Turkmenistan takes active part in the activities of the Organization of Turkic States, emphasising that Ashgabat hosted the 15th meeting of the Council of Elders in March this year.
«The fact that our country hosted this prestigious event testifies, on the one hand, to Turkmenistan’s aspiration for close cooperation with the Turkic countries, and on the other hand, to the great trust placed in us and our reliability,» the National Leader of the Turkmen people added.
