On November 9, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated agricultural workers on the Harvest Day, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«With all my heart, I congratulate you on the Harvest Day, celebrated solemnly in honour of the abundant gifts of the generous Turkmen land in the Year «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fraghi»! Through the farmers’ tirelessness and integrated approach, the generous Turkmen land is eared and green with harvests of various crops, thereby significantly strengthening food security of our country. The state comprehensively supports valiant grain and cotton growers: they gather generous harvests from fertile fields. Farmers are gaining more and more victories, which are impossible without dedication and conscientiousness in work,» Berdimuhamedov emphasised.
The President noted that the most favourable conditions for rural workers to work fruitfully, increase the productivity of the agro-industrial sector and reap high yields are created in the country. The President specified that modern agricultural machinery, high-quality fertilizers and seeds are purchased.
«Thanks to comprehensive state support, selfless farmers work effectively and with enthusiasm. By reaping high agricultural yields, they make a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural industry,» the President of Turkmenistan emphasised.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov assured that the state will continue to provide economic preferences to agricultural workers to ensure a prosperous life and the well-being of the industry.
