On October 10, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated workers of Turkmenistan’s health sector and medical industry on their professional holiday, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«Today, huge work is being done to modernise the national health system and improve health and increase life expectancy of the people. It involves targeted measures to promote physical activity and sports and establish the principles of a healthy lifestyle,» the President noted.
Berdimuhamedov emphasised consistent construction of diagnostic and health centres, health resorts and enterprises producing medicines from local raw materials in Ashgabat and the regions of the country. The President highlighted the importance of establishing close ties with well-known medical institutions and research centres.
