Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov held a meeting in Astana with a delegation of the US mission of the International Trade Administration, consisting of US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia David De Falco and US Ambassador to Kazakhstan Daniel Rosenblum.
According to the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the interlocutors discussed expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the US’s participation in geological exploration and the creation of critical minerals supply chains, as well as interaction in the IT, agro-industrial, financial and energy sectors.
“The US House of Representatives is our key partner in maintaining a continuous dialogue between the Government of Kazakhstan and US businesses,” Alibek Kuantyrov said.
The US delegation of the representatives of major companies visited Kazakhstan after the working visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Murat Nurtleu to New York. Kuantyrov invited them to implement joint investment projects and participate in a roundtable on global investments, which will be held in Astana in November.
