On October 2, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received a congratulatory message from Afghan Prime Minister Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund on the 33rd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«Turkmenistan pursues the foreign policy based on comprehensive cooperation and as a friendly country supports Afghanistan, providing continuous assistance to the Afghan people in difficult times,» the Afghan Prime Minister noted.
Akhund thanked Turkmenistan for organising the recent opening ceremonies and launching the important projects aimed at promoting and expanding equal and mutually beneficial cooperation. The Prime Minister wished good health and every success to Hero Arkadag and the prosperity and well-being to the Turkmen people.
