On September 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed citizens of the country. The President congratulated his compatriots on Independence Day and wished them good health, endless happiness and family well-being, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«Independence is the foundation of our achievements and victories, sovereignty and a happy life in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. Therefore, I am confident that the solemn events and activities marking the 33rd anniversary of independence in the year „The Fount of the Wisdom of Magtymguly Fraghi“ will enhance our feeling of love for the Motherland and further strengthen our unity and cohesion,» Berdimuhamedov noted.
The President emphasised that Turkmenistan will continue large-scale work to raise the authority of independent neutral Turkmenistan worldwide and ensure a happy life for citizens. Based on the unshakable principles of patriotism, peacefulness and friendship and national practices in building a democratic, jural and secular state, all efforts will be directed at raising and strengthening the position of the country in the international arena.
«Let the independent neutral Fatherland, moving forward along the path of grandiose achievements, continue to prosper, and its glory and authority in the world arena rise,» Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
