Tajikistan and Russia agreed to jointly counter the spread of disinformation on the interaction between the two countries in media, the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
These issues were discussed during Russia-Tajikistan inter-MFA consultations, which were held via videoconference. The heads of the departments of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries responsible for information support of foreign policy activities and media liaison attended the event
They included Director of the Information and Press Department of the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova.
It was decided to strengthen cooperation between the departments. Special attention will be paid to creating a favourable information background in the media space. The agenda will cover Tajikistan-Russia ties and interethnic relations.
