Turkmenistan is ready to strengthen international cooperation and forge ties with foreign investors, particularly in the oil and gas sector. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, who is in charge of the economic, financial and banking sectors, on the sidelines of the TIF-2024 Investment Forum, a CentralAsia.news correspondent in Ashgabat reported.
“Large-scale events initiated by Ashgabat are aimed at forging ties with investors, foreign business partners and companies that are interested in financing projects in Turkmenistan, strengthening international cooperation and expanding export opportunities, particularly in the oil and gas sector,” Geldimyradov said.
The speaker emphasised the importance of attracting international investors into the manufacturing, energy, transport, communications, agricultural and other sectors.
Geldimyradov focused on the entrepreneurial sector, noting that the Government will continue to create ample opportunities for Turkmenistan’s business circles to strengthen mutually beneficial and equal partnerships with foreign partners.
