On September 10, the Investment Forum and the International Conference aimed at attracting high technologies and innovations to the national economy started in Ashgabat. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the event, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
“International conferences, exhibitions, festivals and business meetings take place on a regular basis in our independent country, which has now become a good tradition. I firmly believe that this kind of events will play a significant role in attracting substantial investment into the national economy and expanding mutually beneficial international partnerships,” the President said.
The President noted that Turkmenistan makes constructive efforts to expand transnational transport and transit corridors. Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector and energy industry are keeping pace with contemporary demands and scaling up the introduction of digital achievements. In this regard, Berdimuhamedov invited foreign delegates to participate in ongoing projects in various sectors of Turkmenistan’s economy.
