The inauguration ceremony of the Kyrgyzstan-China Friendship Society took place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev and Ambassador of China Du Dewen attended the ceremony, Kabar reported.
Adylbek Kasymaliev stressed that China is Kyrgyzstan’s biggest trading and strategic partner.
He expressed belief that the new public association will contribute to deepening the existing ties in the economic and social sectors, as well as in culture, sports and education.
President of the Kyrgyzstan-China Friendship Society Medetbek Bukuyev informed that the organisation was registered with the Ministry of Justice this year. Bukuyev said the Friendship Society will work towards strengthening cooperation between the government agencies of the two countries and attract investment. He stressed that China has a lead role in many areas and expressed belief that the Society’s activities will benefit both countries.
