On 6 September, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of Turkmenistan Myahrijemal Mammadova reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the upcoming cultural events in September which mark the 33rd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
The Deputy Chairperson noted that the cultural events include the ceremony of laying flowers at the monuments of state importance, exhibitions, the finals of the contests, the ceremony in honour of outstanding citizens of the country, a solemn parade, festive concerts, fireworks and sporting events. The media will widely cover the achievements of the country. Work is currently underway to broadcast the materials about Turkmenistan on foreign TV channels.
Commenting on the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of holding the events which mark the 33rd anniversary of independence at a high level. In this context, the President gave specific instructions to the Deputy Chairperson.
