On August 10, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Centre of Motorsports and held a meeting with the Director of the Centre, the IIC of Turkmenistan reported.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people was informed about the capabilities and technical characteristics of the sports cars at the Centre, as well as with the conditions of training racing drivers. Hero Arkadag took one of the cars for a test drive.
Talking to the Director of the Centre, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty said the racing course is located next to a residential area, social facilities and facilities of state significance, which disturbs the peace of residents. In this regard, Hero-Arkadag suggested moving the Centre to another place, given an increasing number of those willing to engage in this sport.
The Director of the Centre of Motor Sports supported the initiative, noting the historic significance of this suggestion. The location of the new racing course will be announced in the near future.
