Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of Russia Sergey Muzychenko met with Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan Tair Alimatov and Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic Gulnora Rakhimova. They discussed the exchange of experience and close cooperation between the two countries in the construction sector, the press office of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of Russia reported.
Sergey Muzychenko noted that cooperation between specialists from Russia and Uzbekistan is actively and steadily developing.
Industry specialists often meet and discuss such issues as regulation of housing policy and modernisation of the housing and public utilities sector and infrastructure.
As part of bilateral consultations, it was decided to exchange experience in attracting investment and maintaining a balance between the state objectives and the needs of the construction industry. Muzychenko visited the construction site of the Olympic Village in Tashkent and the centre of Islamic civilization.
Muzychenko reviewed the draft general plan of new Tashkent, the principles of the green standard of which are aimed at improving the quality of life, creating a comfortable urban environment and ensuring environmental compliance.
