Uzbekistan and Turkey to jointly train agricultural specialists

The countries are set to modernise basic training at universities and employee retraining.

Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov held a working meeting with the Turkish delegation to discuss promoting cooperation in implementing the agricultural policy. The talks between the representatives of the two countries focused on the growth in the agricultural sector and human resource capacity building to meet the needs of the agrarian sector, the press office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan reported.

The agenda also covered cooperation in agricultural insurance in Uzbekistan.

The partners are ready to exchange professional knowledge and expertise. They also discussed changes in the legal and regulatory framework of Uzbekistan in conformity with ongoing reforms.

Uzbekistan and Turkey are seeking to work together in the education sector. The countries are set to modernise basic training at universities and employee retraining.
