Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a meeting on the development of Kyrgyzstan’s film industry. The key industry representatives took part in the meeting. They discussed the current issues and development prospects of this sector, including the use of artificial intelligence in film production.
The participants discussed the construction of a filming pavilion and measures to popularise Kyrgyz cinematography on international platforms and advance the art of animation at the national level.
Edil Baisalov emphasised the need to support the national cinematography and give a new impetus for the development of Kyrgyzstan’s film industry. He added that cinematography should play a significant role in the educational process and the establishment of a national identity.
He underscored the need to expand the content in the Kyrgyz language, including dubbed films.
