On July 12, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov led an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss the work done in the economic sectors for 6 months of the year. The President reshuffled the high-ranking officials and signed the documents, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Berdimuhamedov relieved Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nurmuhammet Amannepesov from his post due to the transfer to another job and appointed Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, who held the position of Minister of Education, to this post.
The President appointed Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiev, who held the post of Rector of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Minister of Education. Berdimuhamedov relieved Minister of Textile Industry Resul Rejepov from his post due to the transfer to another job and appointed Nurmuhammet Orazgeldiev to this post.
The President relieved Ogulhajat Ishangulyeva from the post of Chairperson of the Turkmenhaly State Association due to the retirement and appointed Akjemal Durdyeva, who held the post of Chairperson of the National Centre of Trade Unions and the Central Council of the Women’s Union, to this post.
The President appointed Gulshat Yusupova Rector of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relieved her from the post of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Institute. Orazgeldi Ovezsahadov was appointed Rector of Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov relieved Parahat Orazov from the post of Rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction for serious shortcomings in his work. Batyr Mammedov, who held the post of Vice-Rector of Yagshygeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University, was appointed to this post.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov relived Arslan Ashyrov from the post of Chairman of the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography for health reasons and appointed Meylis Rejepov, who held the post of Director of Ashgabat TV Channel, in this post.
Suhanberdi Begenjov was appointed Director of Ashgabat TV Channel. Shatlyk Purmammedov was relieved from the post of Director of Yashlyk TV Channel, and Yakupgeldi Kasymov was appointed to this post. The President relieved Chairman of Oguz Khan Turkmenfilm Association Arslan Eyeberdiev and appointed Mammetnazar Saparmyradov to this post.
In accordance with Article 16 of the Law On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov reshuffled the officials of this government agency.
