On July 4, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Kazakhstan for a working visit. Hero-Arkadag will take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit as a guest of honour, the Turkmenistan: Today State News Agency reports.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty was seen off by the officials at the Ashgabat International Airport.
Turkmenistan pursues the foreign policy strategy based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness and broad constructive partnerships, in which the progressive initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people continue in a worthy manner. Fostering a fruitful dialogue with authoritative regional and international organisations and institutions is a priority vector.
The official greeting ceremony of the guest of honour — Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took place at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana. The flags of the participating countries of the SCO Summit are raised on the flagpoles, and a guard of honour is lined up. The motorcade of the National Leader of the Turkmen people headed to the venue.
