On June 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated cultural workers and artists on their professional holiday. The President wished them good health, family well-being and great creative achievements, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
«A special place in enhancing the creative potential of the Motherland is given to culture. Culture and arts are the spiritual heritage of the people. The development of the cultural system ensures the social unity and the spiritual revival of the nation. Our sovereign country is creating all the conditions for national culture, art and literature to develop and for cultural workers and artists to raise their professional level,» Berdimuhamedov noted.
The President emphasised that the state allocates substantial investment to strengthen the material and technical base of specialised institutions, incorporate a digital system and build new cultural and educational facilities. This is of great importance for organising cultural leisure activities for citizens and bringing up the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, he said.
«In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, independent neutral Turkmenistan is developing at an accelerated pace. The Fatherland is moving forward with confidence along the bright path of ambitious reforms. Large-scale state programmes are being successfully implemented in the political, economic, and cultural life of the country,» Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
