On June 11, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the Development and Future of Innovative Technologies in Turkmenistan International Science Conference that has started its work. The event was organised to mark Science Day, widely celebrated in the country, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
«Our age is witnessing technological and social development. Like in other countries of the world, the overwhelmingly rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century has led to the introduction of innovative technologies into all sectors of the economy in independent neutral Turkmenistan, including science, professional training, theoretical, practical and fundamental scientific research, modernisation and development of science,» the President noted.
The President noted that one of the priority objectives of state policy is to bring the science sector up to a new, higher level and continuously expand international cooperation in science and technology.
«We seek to use the wonderful fruits of the selfless constructive efforts of our scientists and technologists — scientific and engineering solutions and research results in industrial innovation and information technology in the interests of our country, people and all humanity,» Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
