First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Nasimjon Anvarov met with Advisor to the European Commission’s Directorate General for International Partnerships Henrik Hololei to discuss the prospects of partnerships between the Republic and the European Union in such sectors as trade, economy, energy, industry, transport and logistics, the press office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan reported.
Anvarov noted that Tajikistan attaches particular importance to reliable partnerships with the European Union.
He said cooperation with Europe has a positive impact on the Republic and will help it achieve the strategic goals and boost social and economic growth.
Hololei was informed about the progress made by Tajikistan in the economic, trade, industrial and other sectors. He expressed satisfaction with the good results and emphasised the readiness of the European Union to help the Republic develop the above sectors.
