President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev sent a telegram of congratulations on the national holiday — Republic Day to his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.
In his congratulatory message, Tokayev noted that Italy currently has undeniable authority in the international arena, and the reliable political and economic foundation has enabled Italy to achieve a high standard of living. Tokayev said Italy has taken over the presidency of the Group of Seven (G7) in 2024 and makes a significant contribution to promote global stability and security.
The President highlighted the special importance of strategic partnerships between Kazakhstan and Italy.
He emphasised that his visit to Rome early this year has given new incentives to the partnerships and injected new impetus into bilateral interaction.
Tokayev wished well-being and prosperity to the people of Italy and every success in «his responsible activities» to President Mattarella.
