President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, who arrived in Astana for a working visit, held a meeting at Akorda, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reports.
They discussed the prospects for expanding political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Tokayev noted the importance of this visit and emphasised the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the investment sector. He expressed satisfaction with bilateral cooperation and urged to strengthen trade and economic relations.
The Dutch Prime Minister urged to intensify cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed the approaches to ramping up trade, economic, energy and investment cooperation, as well as relations in transport, innovation, nuclear energy, agriculture, healthcare, climate change and water resources management.
