President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon meet with RF Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev to discuss strengthening cooperation on labour migration and security. They also discussed the current state and prospects of interaction between law enforcement agencies of the two countries, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
Emomali Rahmon emphasised the need to take all necessary measures to strengthen legal and social protection for Tajik migrants in Russia. He highlighted the importance of enhancing ties between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries.
The interlocutors reviewed the outcomes of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan and Russia in countering crime, terrorism, extremism, illicit drug trafficking and other forms of organized crime.
