Tajikistan to continue implementing EAPO-registered inventions

Minister of Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda met with President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) of the Eurasian Patent Organization Grigory Ivliev to discuss the prospects for expanding bilateral relations, as well as issues on the international and regional agenda in the field of intellectual property, the press office of the Ministry of Trade of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The interlocutors noted that the programmes aimed at building up staffing capacities of industry experts, promoting an exchange of experience in this area, providing support to technology parks and innovation centres, encouraging inventors and implementing registered inventions.

It was noted that Tajikistan is one of the important members of the Eurasian Patent Organization and plays a key role in facilitating Eurasian integration in the field of intellectual property.

Following the talks, the interlocutors expressed mutual readiness to boost mutually beneficial cooperation.
