The ceremony of handing over 5 mobile infectious diseases laboratories to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan took place at the Istiklol health complex in Dushanbe. The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development helped finance the purchase of the mobile complexes, the press office of the Ministry of Health reported to CentralAsia.news.
The mobile laboratories were handed over under the project focused on the laboratory diagnosis of coronavirus infection. The programme was launched in the framework of a grant agreement signed by the EFSD and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic in October 2021. The project is being implemented by the Russian AIDS Infosvyaz Foundation.
Together with the mobile laboratories, diagnostic tests for coronavirus infection were handed over to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan.
The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development donated $3 million to the Republic as part of the above project.
