Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad Olivier Becht discussed via videoconference a meeting of the Uzbekistan-France Intergovernmental Commission, the press office of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The meeting will take place in Tashkent in May; the agenda will focus on building up bilateral cooperation.
Kudratov and Becht highlighted the importance of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to France last autumn. They discussed the readiness to build up cooperation in the energy, tourism, transport and logistics sectors.
The officials discussed a visit of a delegation of the Movement of the Enterprises of France to take part in a business forum in April. The interlocutors highlighted the importance of promoting multifaceted intergovernmental relations between Uzbekistan and France.
