On March 25, Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda and Sughd Region Head Rajabboy Ahmadzoda attended the ground-breaking ceremony of the new faculty buildings of the Academy of the Sughd Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Khujand. The new building complex will include is a kitchen, a hostel, 17 classrooms, a conference hall for 500 people and offices. The buildings will be put into operation in September this year, the press office of the regional administration reported to CentralAsia.news.
Addressing those present, the speakers emphasised that the brave police officers of Tajikistan have gone through many severe trials on their way. Displaying devotion, courage and true patriotism in any matter, they act in the interests of the people and the state.
Rakhimzoda and Ahmadzoda emphasised that Tajikistan and its people will always remember and protect the good name of the defenders of the Motherland, who every day fight against crimes, illegal drug trafficking and other offenses that infringe on the rights and freedoms of the people and defend the cohesion in the country.
A new vehicle was donated to the Khujand City DRTI in a solemn atmosphere.
