On March 24, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting with Astana IFC Manager Renat Bekturov, who informed the Kazakh leader about the activities aimed at expanding innovative financial products and services, making the country more attractive for investors and bolstering cooperation with major business partners within the updated hub development strategy, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Commenting on the role of Astana IFC in achieving the goal of financing carbon neutrality of the Republic, the President emphasised its contribution to developing an infrastructure and facilitating additional foreign investment, as well as improving the national stock market and the national economy.
The Kazakh leader highlighted the importance of increasing the AIFC’s competitiveness and creating conditions conducive to attracting large-scale investments to such infrastructure projects as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, among others.
