Trade between Tajikistan and Central Asian countries grows by 23% in 2022

This was announced at the international Conference in Dushanbe.

The Conference «Tajikistan-Central Asia: The Policy of Good Neighbourliness, Mutual Support, Eternal Friendship and Joint Development» was held as part of the chairmanship of Tajikistan in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Dushanbe. The participants noted that trade between the Republic and the Central Asian states grew by 23% in 2022, the press office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nuriddin Nuriddinzoda noted that President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attaches priority to building up trade and economic cooperation between the Tajikistan and the Central Asian countries.

He highlighted the importance of setting up joint ventures and logistics centres within Tajikistan-Central Asia interaction and emphasised the expediency of boosting partnerships on renewable energy, green economy and digitalization of the national economy.

The heads and representatives of departments, businessmen and journalists from the Central Asian countries took part in the conference.
