At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Deputy Head of the Department Vepa Hajiyev met with the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic Vaclav Jilek. The diplomatic representative presented copies of his credentials. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the Turkmen ministry.
Hajiyev congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to the relevant post. He wished the diplomat success in his work. Then the parties discussed a number of issues related to the further development of interstate cooperation.
Attention was paid to the prospects for collaboration in politics, trade, economy, education and culture. The officials also considered aspects of bilateral humanitarian ties. Emphasis was also placed on partnership within the United Nations, which includes mutual support for initiatives aimed at ensuring global peace.
Hajiyev and Jilek stressed the importance of holding political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Czech Republic.
