President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of congratulations on the Sadeh Festival (one of the oldest holidays of the Aryans) to citizens of the Republic. He noted that this holiday represents the solid, natural and social foundations of society, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Rahmon emphasised that the essence of the Sadeh Festival is the victory of heat over cold, light over darkness. After Tajikistan has gained independence, Sadeh was revived after many years of being faded and pale, he said.
The President of Tajikistan emphasised that this holiday informs people about the end of the winter cold and the approach of Navruz (the holiday of the arrival of spring among the Iranian and Turkic peoples). He called on citizens of the Republic to work harder and increase production to ensure food abundance.
Rahmon added that today Tajikistan has an abundance of food products against the backdrop of a difficult global situation. The President noted that food prices remain steady.
