President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Head of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a phone conversation. They discussed the current level of cooperation and prospects for further interstate collaboration. It was done on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, «Turkmenistan today» reports.
Berdimuhamedov noted that the partnership between the countries is becoming more dynamic. In his opinion, positive results have been achieved in trade, economy, science, culture, education, as well as at the parliamentary level. He thanked his Tajik colleague for a great contribution to the development of relations between Ashgabat and Dushanbe.
Rahmon also positively assessed the current level of interstate cooperation. He invited Berdimuhamedov to pay an official visit to Tajikistan.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue expanding cooperation between the countries in all areas of mutual interest. The president of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that the relevant ties will be strengthened for the benefit of the two peoples.
