Ambassadors of Georgia, Myanmar, Sweden and Cyprus accredited in Kazakhstan

Tokayev assured that the Government would give full support and assistance to the diplomats in performing their mission in the country.

On January 24, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of four countries: the Kingdom of Sweden Ewa Polano, Georgia Nikoloz Laliashvili, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Lwin Oo and the Republic of Cyprus Kypros Yorgallis presented their letters of credence to the Kazakh leader Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev at the Akorda Residence. The President wished the diplomats every success in their activities and conveyed his best wishes and warm greetings to the heads of their states, the press office of the President’s Office reported to CentralAsia.news.

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated the newly appointed ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic mission in the Republic and wished them great achievements in expanding bilateral cooperation. Addressing the diplomats, Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan is pursuing a peaceful and open foreign policy aimed at promoting and building up friendly and mutually beneficial relations.

In his opening remarks, the President of Kazakhstan said the Government of Kazakhstan would provide provide comprehensive support in performing their noble mission in the country.
