About 20,000 citizens in Kyrgyzstan complain against government agencies in 2022

The largest number of applications – 4,742 were received from the residents of Bishkek.

On January 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan had received 19,844 applications from citizens by the end of 2022. The largest number of applications was received from the residents of Bishkek — 4,742 (37.5 percent). 101 applications (0.8 percent) were received from Kyrgyz citizens living in the CIS countries and far abroad, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

One-third of them are the applications and complaints against judicial and law enforcement agencies — 3,512 (27.8 percent). 1,580 citizens (12.5 percent) applied for the allocation of housing and plots for building a house, and 1,162 citizens (9.2 percent) submitted the applications on other issues related to local authorities.

758 applications (6 percent) raised the issues of healthcare, education and culture, 745 applications (5.9 percent) — the issues of state awards, citizenship and pardons and 366 applications (2.9 percent) — the issues of construction, architecture and transport and communications services.
